Shop Foreman

TEL Staffing is now hiring a full-time Shop Foreman for a well established manufacturing company in Holt, FL.

We are seeking an experienced  Shop Foreman  to oversee operations at one of our U.S.-based production facilities.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in fabrication and machining who is ready to take charge of a fast-paced shop that builds heavy-duty equipment for the industrial construction industry.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating people, materials, and machines to ensure efficient and high-quality output.

The shop uses a mix of CNC and manual machining processes to fabricate complex assemblies used in large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead daily shop operations including fabrication, machining, fitting, welding, and assembly of custom equipment.
• Provide on-the-floor directions to a team of welders, fabricators, machinists, and general laborers.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Plan and coordinate job assignments, monitor progress, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Interpret and communicate technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate builds.
• Perform quality inspections and verify accuracy of completed work before final assembly or shipment.
• Assist in the setup and optimization of both CNC and manual machine work.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Engineering to troubleshoot issues and refine build processes.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
• Train new employees and support ongoing skill development for the shop team.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials, consumables, and tools and request resupply as needed.
• Other duties as requested.
