Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Alexandria, VA 22304 (Virginia healthcare jobs)

Contract Length : 8 weeks

Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 or 12 / 08 / 2025

Shift : 12-hour nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)

Setting : Hospital setting

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,190 - $2,350

On-Site Position

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (CT and X-ray modalities)

Active Virginia State Radiologic Technologist License (required at time of submission)

ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications

American Heart Association BLS certification

Strong IV skills

Experience with EPIC EMR and Fuji PACS preferred

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform a range of CT and X-ray studies, including head, abdomen, pelvis, angiography, and extremities

Conduct routine and stat X-ray exams

Manage 0-15 studies per day (occasionally up to 22)

Utilize EPIC and Fuji PACS systems for imaging and documentation

Deliver excellent patient care and maintain strong communication with the healthcare team

Float to other hospital areas as needed and cover holidays as scheduled

Wear black scrubs as required
