Overview
We are seeking a Multimedia Production Coordinator to support large-scale federal programs focused on early childhood education and family engagement. This role combines project coordination, content development, and bilingual communications to ensure that information resources are accurate, accessible, and culturally relevant.
The Multimedia Production Coordinator will oversee content creation and editing, translation (English–Spanish), and community engagement activities, while helping to maintain and enhance online platforms that promote collaboration among program partners nationwide.
This is a full-time position contingent on contract award by our client, with a defined performance period of one year with two one-year option periods. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a project aligned with Bixal’s mission of delivering innovative, human-centered solutions. The role has a fixed duration, and the company commits to transparency and collaboration, keeping you informed about contract updates and new opportunities.
Compensation : The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $115,000. Offers typically land near the midpoint of the range and are based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day content development and production operations across web, mobile, and multimedia platforms.
- Provide subject matter expertise in early childhood education communications to guide content strategies and decisions.
- Contribute to the creation, editing, translation (English–Spanish), and publishing of high-quality content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Assign and review work from staff and subcontractors, providing training, feedback, and guidance as needed.
- Maintain and enhance online communities and virtual environments to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and audience engagement.
- Represent editorial and brand standards across communications, ensuring accessibility and compliance with organizational requirements.
- Support and improve project management functions, including creating process flows, scheduling, staffing estimates, task tracking, and reporting deliverables.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to strengthen communications strategies and improve user engagement.
- Collaborate with federal clients, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and content delivery processes, applying judgment to recommend solutions.
- Provide guidance and quality feedback on deliverables to ensure consistency across outputs.
- Perform other duties as assigned and qualified to complete.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Early Childhood Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of professional experience in content development, project coordination, or production support, including at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.Proven track record managing content development workflows for digital and multimedia products in deadline-driven environments.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written), with demonstrated translation and adaptation of professional / educational content.Strong knowledge of editorial best practices, digital communications, and knowledge management systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities, mentor staff, and improve processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Nice to Have Skills and Experience
