Job Summary :
Processes member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payments. Provides excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner. Maintains the overall cleanliness of the front-line department.

Exhibits clear understanding of all BJ's Membership options, including the importance of renewals, upgrading to our BJ's Loyalty programsOffer all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ's Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemptionProvides a high level of customer service to MembersChecks Members out in a timely and efficient mannerScans all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and accurate purchase totals for MembersFills shopping carts when necessary and assists at self-checkout stationsCollects payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from membersIssues receipts or change due to MembersStays up to date on all merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product informationDiscounts purchases by scanning and redeeming couponsMaintains the cleanliness of the frontline areaAssists in general club housekeeping when necessaryReturns re-sellable merchandise to the sales floor areaManages self-checkout and scan and pan lanesAssists Members with operations and technical difficultiesRequired to meet cashier productivity expectationsMaintains all club policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as neededRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this jobQualifications :

At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $16.00.
