This role reports to the Talent Acquisition team at Quest Global.
The base pay range is $75,000.00 / yr - $95,000.00 / yr. Compensation decisions are based on experience and skills. Actual pay will be discussed with your recruiter.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the technical lead for all facets of the Quality Engineering discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and oversee rapid problem resolution to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
- Manage Quality Engineering responsibilities across all stages of assembly (design through delivery).
- Manage Corrective Action Plans related to SRR reductions, customer escapes, audit findings, and site-impacting issues.
- Provide technical guidance on quality standards, specifications, and processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality work instructions, inspection job guides, and control plans.
- Utilize Root Cause Analysis tools to resolve issues and implement corrective / preventive actions.
- Review and approve engineering and manufacturing changes that impact quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and program IPTs to ensure quality processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for defect reduction.
- Lead cross-functional teams to investigate, determine RCCAs, and implement actions.
- Contribute measurable input for new products, processes, or standards to support business strategies.
- Drive improvements in processes, systems, or products to enhance assembly performance.
- Promote risk identification and mitigation and maintain skills and certifications relevant to the role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, unless restricted by local laws / regulations.Experience in the aerospace industry.Advanced to expert knowledge in RCCA methodologies.Experience in Lean Six Sigma practices.Proficient in Excel and SAP.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; skilled in data mining and analysis of large datasets.Proven experience presenting to diverse audiences.Background in project planning, management, and execution; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Commitment to drive and monitor continuous improvement; excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.Pay Range and Benefits
