Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager

Job Summary :

The Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to Account Managers and Producers in the insurance industry. This position involves handling various tasks such as processing policy changes, endorsements, and invoices, as well as assisting with renewals, claims, and client inquiries. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a leading insurance organization.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, policy checks, and billing.
  • Answer client questions, gather information, provide proofs of insurance, and assist with renewal processes.
  • Access carrier systems, obtain necessary documents, and assist with carrier communications.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by documenting all client and carrier interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; participate in regular team meetings.
  • Complete general administrative tasks including answering calls, handling mail, and performing clerical duties.
  • Manage workload effectively to meet established quality and timeliness performance metrics.
  • Adhere to documented processes and procedures outlined in the servicing workflow.
  • Qualifications :
  • Required

High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-2 years of Insurance Experience
  • Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience with Epic / Applied agency software
  • Property & Casualty License
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of insurance products, coverage types, and rating concepts, with a willingness to learn more.
  • Developing decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning agency management systems and other office software.
  • Clear and respectful communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Shows professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude in daily interactions.
  • Works well with others and contributes to a supportive, team-oriented workplace.
