Community Relations Director

The Community Relations Director role at Traditions Management is a unique opportunity for a qualified candidate to work in a dynamic environment with a team-oriented staff committed to the compassionate care of seniors. The professional selected will spearhead the sales of our senior living community and meet or exceed established sales and occupancy goals and lead independent resident events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead prospect centered sales to increase community occupancy
  • Work within sales and occupancy goals and work to ensure those goals are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain stable occupancy relative to projections and goals.
  • Provide hospitality / small group interactions / programming that include life enrichment programs to assure group activities are completed providing a social environment
  • Plan and execute events that expand outreach and form new prospects.
  • Create a culture of respect that honors the dignity and independence of independent residents

Candidate Profile

The successful Community Relations Director is a highly motivated, self-directed individual who will apply an entrepreneurial spirit and effective leadership style to connect with potential residents and generate traffic into the community converting prospects to move-ins using prospect centered selling method. This candidate will have a hospitality and event programming mindset for enrichment and social environment specifically for independent residents as well as championing the community.

Preferred Qualifications are as follows :

  • 2+ years of experience with Sales and Marketing
  • Proven sales record
  • Proficient with each phase of selling and the nuances of public relations
  • An exceptional leader who inspires excellence
  • Able to rise to the challenge of hospitality program and life enrichment programming
  • Committed to building relationships with residents, staff, and the surrounding community
  • Experience in use of CRMs (WelcomeHome a plus!) and proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Committed to the important task of serving our residents through our Core Values
  • Reporting

    The Community Relations Director will report to the Executive Director and will be coached and mentored through the Welcome Home prospect centered selling platform by the Sales Specialist of Traditions Management. Sales goals will be set and expected to be met from the Executive Director.
