Job descriptionAssist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures , including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring - Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions - Maintain and place IV catheters , ensuring proper patient care - Accurately administer and document controlled substances & chemotherapy medications - Provide compassionate client communication , from triage to discharge - Ensure proper medical record documentation and OSHA compliance What We’re Looking For : Strong venipuncture & IV catheter placement skills Passion for patient care and client communication Ability to work efficiently in a high-tech, fast-paced environment A team player with a commitment to excellence Why choose VVC? Virginia Veterinary Centers is seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team and play a key role in advanced medical, diagnostic, and radiation therapy procedures.
Compensation :
- $26 - $28 based on experience, skill set, & certification Schedule : Four 10-hour shifts One 12-hour on-call shift in ER per month after cross training This will be a Monday-Friday department eventually.
