Main Activities / Duties / Responsibilities

The main purpose of the Market Intelligence Manager is to assess the market landscape and support strategic decision making. This can include competitor / product / service valuation, business plan design, market growth and competitor share forecasting, Board and other high level audience presentations.

Responsible for analysis of competitors, markets and industry developments

• Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting the annual assessment of the North American market production capacity utilization and forecast by end-use segment
• Responsible for import and export sales analyses by product category and competitor
• Responsible for acting as the leading liaison for the Technology Scouting Team with external partners / consultants
• Supports ad-hoc research and analysis of existing and proposed products / services that our competitors have announced or our R&D team might address
