Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center and make a difference in patients' lives! As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Multispecialty Care, you will provide direct patient care under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately obtain and record patients' vital signs.
- Document patients' medical history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist in in-office procedures following the direction of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing and perform venipuncture for lab tests.
- Manage prescription call-backs within your scope of practice.
- Prepare patient charts with relevant clinical information.
- Maintain inventory and ensure examination rooms are stocked.
- Adhere to regulatory compliance standards set by Albany Medical Center.
- Provide clinical coverage by floating to other sites as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / G.E.D. - requiredPrevious experience in a patient care setting - preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries from patients, families, and colleagues.LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Upon Hire - requiredPhysical Demands :
