Description :

The CT Tech performs CT procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

The role involves obtaining optimal image quality and exceptional service.

The individual is responsible for all aspects of CT imaging procedures.

This requires a sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.

The tech independently selects and modifies technical factors to produce optimum CT scans.

Patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort are top priorities.

The position demands skills in working in an emergency department setting.

The CT Tech must be familiar with trauma, stroke, CT angiograms, and perfusion.

The individual will work with advanced CT scanning equipment.

A solid understanding of CTA and perfusion is preferred.

Effective communication and recognition of emergency situations are essential.

The role includes continual patient interaction in a high-pressure environment.

The individual must be able to lift and transport patients.

Familiarity with basic computer knowledge is required.

The individual should be capable of adapting to a fast-paced daily workload.
