Job Description

A rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Litigation Counsel (4909) to join its fully remote legal team. The legal department is a small, agile team of attorneys and paralegals who handle complex litigation and regulatory issues at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage litigation workstreams related to independent contractor classification, unemployment insurance, and workers’ compensation matters
• Lead the company’s unpaid revenue litigation strategy, collaborating with internal finance and operations teams
• Partner with outside counsel and internal stakeholders on high‑stakes litigation, discovery, and document management
• Oversee subpoena and law enforcement response processes, refining internal playbooks and systems
• Provide practical legal guidance to business teams across product, finance, and operations
• Contribute to strategy and process improvements within the legal department

Qualifications :

Compensation : Up to $220,000 Base
