Job description

A company is looking for a News Editor (Central Region).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide editorial planning and execution for daily coverage and special projects
  • Manage a team of reporters and freelancers, focusing on their organization and growth
  • Assign articles and edit online content, newsletters, and morning briefs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an editorial role, including team management
  • Experience in business-to-business reporting; commercial real estate reporting is a plus
  • Strong management style that is clear, friendly, and goals-based
  • Proven experience in editing and recruiting high-caliber writers
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic SEO knowledge
