Hospital Claims Specialist

A company is looking for a Hospital AR Follow Up specialist for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve aged hospital accounts receivables and perform comprehensive follow-up on claims

Analyze denial trends and prepare appeal documentation to address denials and underpayments

Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements and reduce denials

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Proven experience in healthcare revenue cycle, specializing in hospital claims

Expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial payer processes

Strong understanding of federal / state billing guidelines and reimbursement methodologies

Familiarity with HIPAA, RARC, and CARC codes
