• Position Summary

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II provides technical expertise in maintaining manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting systems, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

• Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sorters, conveyors, and packing equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and support the tech team in repairing systems during production.
• Oversee third-party vendor performance and ensure standards are met.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
• Test equipment to confirm proper operation and document all maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations (LOTO, Arc Flash, 6S).
• Support facilities maintenance tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of related experience in maintenance or a similar field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude (lacing belts, replacing gearboxes, motors, pulleys, etc.).
• Electrical knowledge (480V 3-Phase, 120V, 24VDC).
• Experience with conveyor and sorter controls (HMI, PLCs, VFDs).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Fabrication and welding skills are a plus.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions.
• Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods (8-12 hours).
• Able to ascend and descend staircases as needed.
• Must be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including near moving equipment and occasional exposure to noise, fumes, or outdoor weather.

Pay : $50,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
