Required qualifications include an active RN license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and recent experience in labor and delivery. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and up-to-date vaccinations are necessary. You should have strong assessment skills, the ability to work in a team, and a minimum of one year of recent labor and delivery experience. Recommended skills include advanced fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and experience with high-risk deliveries. Adaptability, excellent communication, and a commitment to compassionate care are valued.
