Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : O'Fallon, Illinois 62269 – Greater St. Louis Area

Unit : Operating Room (OR) – General Surgery Procedures

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 8, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 8-hour day shifts with intermittent on-call (covering vacations and call-ins)

Hours per Week : 40

On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2330 - $2500

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of O'Fallon, IL

Provide requested time off (RTO) at time of application

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, prioritizing patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols in the OR

Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, responding to changes in condition

Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures

Participate in on-call rotation to support the surgical team as needed
