Senior Quality Engineer - Arlington, TX

You will be a Quality Engineer (QE) with Lockheed Martin, supporting the THAAD production program. Based in Arlington, TX, this role will require working flexible hours and traveling out of the assigned geographical area to support Lockheed Martin Production Sites across the United States.

What You Will Be Doing As a Quality Engineer with the THAAD program team, you will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on continuous improvement and having a proactive mindset in reducing risk to the product and customer. Your responsibilities will include :

• Identification of process variation, sources of waste and nonconformances, and data analysis techniques to create innovative solutions to complex supply chain issues.
• Assurance that LM THAAD Lockheed Production Sites' activities are effective through supporting product line validations as outlined by AS9102, accurate measurement and characterization of resultant performance parameters, and risk management.
• Providing systemic support for issue resolution that involves true root cause, full containment, and corrective / preventive actions.
• Supporting requests tied to program requirements, interfacing with customer needs, and program management activities.
• Driving failure / diagnosis and strong grasp of Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Developing technical solutions to complex problems and providing liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
• Ensuring contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfacing with Lockheed Production Sites on a daily basis.
• Reviewing documentation related to Sites manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
• Excelling within a multifunctional Integrated Product Teams with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.
