An excellent opportunity exists within the Naval Power estimating organization, Naval Air Missiles SSBU, as a proposal analyst. The estimating organization is responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts. In addition, the estimating organization supports gate reviews, government audits and negotiations with the customer.

What You Will Do

• Support the development and analysis of proposals
• Work with other functions from across the company to understand the labor, material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts
• Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
• Develop Request for Estimates which are used to kick off proposals
• Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and assessing the estimating approach
• Prepare Gate 4 charts for program / company leadership review of proposal information

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
