HR Specialist, Sales Training Program Manager

As a member of the Black & Veatch HR Talent Development team, you are responsible for partnering with the Enterprise Sales Enablement team to assess knowledge and skill gaps in our sales community and developing programs to address those gaps. You will work with sales team leaders and members to increase their effectiveness so they can achieve our growth goals.
You will have the opportunity to design content, deliver live sessions, and coordinate sales training events. If you have a capability for nimble learning or a successful history of working with sales teams, an understanding of the engineering-construction business or the Black & Veatch organization, and experience with developing and managing training programs, then this opportunity may be for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with members of the Sales Enablement team to plan, define and implement sales training programs
- Consult and collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) across a variety of business lines and market sectors on the development of technical and solution-focused sales training courses
- Lead planning discussions with solution SMEs and product marketing teams in the creation of content and collateral materials for sales
- Manage the planning, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide sales training programs, including managing logistics such as invitations, scheduling, tracking, rosters, and recordings among other duties
- Create course content utilizing a variety of adult learning modalities including instructor-led courses, webinars, interactive eLearning, mobile-learning, business application segments, and on-the-job activities
- Leverage learning analytics and seller feedback to continuously improve and update training approaches
- Provide training and coaching on the use of sales technologies such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Altify, among others
- Manage sales training webinar series and provide support to SMEs as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience8+ years of experience requiredAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a sales team in a professional services environmentDemonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly, and to convert technical or complex information and concepts into easily understandable contentStrong communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skillsResults oriented with strong attention to detail, and the ability to see the big picture. Effective at managing multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage workloads and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with cross functional teams and leaders at all levelsStrong eye for modern design aesthetic and an ability to follow a style guide to maintain brandTravel (up to 20%)Knowledge of adult learning, design process, needs assessments and discoveryExperience developing training videos and multimedia presentationsFamiliarity with commercial engineering and construction industry and sustainable solutions highly desiredExperience leading and influencing development discussions with senior level experts including top-line sales leaders, and technical solutions ownersExperience as a sales professional, knowledge of B2B selling principles, and the ability to understand the challenges sales team encounter is a BIG plusTools / Software Qualifications :
Demonstrated skills using video editing software (Experience with Camtasia and Adobe Premier preferred)Experience using Salesforce or other CRM toolsExperience using Learning Management Systems preferredAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and TeamsExperience with project management tools helpfulWork Environment / Physical Demands
