A partner hospital in Crawfordville, FL is seeking a dedicated full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate team. This clinic emphasizes a family-like atmosphere , where the team provides personalized, 1-on-1 care for each client. Located just a 25-minute drive from Tallahassee , this practice fosters a strong sense of community both within the clinic and beyond, with monthly outings and team-building events .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead with trust, respect , and a commitment to the clinic's mission of compassionate animal care
- Perform physical exams , diagnostic tests , and surgeries
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals
- Prescribe medications and develop tailored treatment plans for each patient's needs
- Engage with clients to provide education and recommendations regarding their pets' health
- Manage a variety of patients and priorities efficiently, maintaining high standards of care
- Contribute to the development and mentorship of support staff through the clinic's LevelUp training program
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise :
DVM / VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)Active, valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)Experience in surgery , dentistry , diagnostics , and patient care managementExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a dedicated teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsBenefits :
