Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift\n\nLocation\n\nLocation not specified.\n\nAssignment Duration\n\nThis is a 13-week contract position.\n\nSchedule\n\nNight shift, 3x12.0 hours.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring that the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Embraces the Select Medical Way and Core Values of the Company : \n

- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop an individualized plan of care.\n
- Identify teaching needs and goals related to the diagnosis of each patient, collaborating with the patient / family and the interdisciplinary team.\n
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.\n
- Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care using the nursing process.\n
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.\n
- Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.\n
- Provide training and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.\n
- Contribute positively to the unit's environment and participate in team-building activities.\n
- Assume charge responsibility as requested after the orientation period.\n
- Prioritize activities and plan effectively to meet patient needs.\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
- BLS certification required prior to first shift.\n
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).\n
- A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is required.\n
