As a Security Officer Access Control Auto Site in Mount Holly, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a positive experience for everyone onsite. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating vehicles as part of your duties. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations at the automotive location

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns

Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or access control duties

Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related needs and support emergency response activities

What We're Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience

Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician certification

Must have prior supervisory experience

Must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma

Must be at least 21 years of age

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
