JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department : Float Staffing

Shift Timings : 07 : 00 - 19 : 30 Monday to Friday. (3 Days / 12 Hours)

Per Week : 36 Hours

This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time. Will need basic dysrhythmia testing competency.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
• Implementing medical care plans;
• Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
• Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and
• Performing other related duties as assigned / required
