Job Details : SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for :

• Assist in controlling expenses.
• Provide for the compliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements.
• Interpret and enforce company policies.
• Assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes recommendations;.
• Prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately
• Solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up.
• Work with department heads to meet production, quality, yields, and goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product.
• Inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of house keeping, safety, sanitation, and security.
• Supervise production supervisors; and oversee all designated shift operations.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS : (It is highly recommended that you attach a resume)

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent college degree preferred. Experience : 3-5 years of related industry 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferably in a meat processing facility and knowledge of OSHA USDA and HACCP regulations.

Computer Skills : Standard computer skills

Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills Supervisory Responsibilities :

Special Skills : Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HACCP, Safety, Security, Sanitation, Quality, yields, cost, and efficiencies strong math ability a plus.
