NI-Physician, Inpatient Cardiology

Job Summary

UW Health in northern Illinois seeks an Inpatient Cardiologist to provide care at our SwedishAmerican Hospital, a 350-bed tertiary care and Level 2 trauma center with a state-of-the-art dedicated Heart Hospital. As part of a physician-led group with over 340 providers and 40 specialties, you will serve patients in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Your clinical support includes the following :

• Exciting New Program : Expansion with two new Inpatient Cardiology positions
• Schedule of 7 on / 7 off
• Thriving Team : Join a collaborative team of 10 cardiologists (4 non-interventional, 4 interventional, and 2 electrophysiologists), supported by Advanced Practice Providers
• Cutting-Edge Facilities : Work in a state-of-the-art Heart Hospital with onsite diagnostics, a cath lab, and surgical suites
• Comprehensive Services :
• o Advanced procedures : Watchman, CardioMEMS, ASD / PFO Closure, TAVR.
• o Access to Cardiac MRI and CT.
• o Involvement in cardiac diagnostic interpretations.
• Established Patient Base : Serve a robust cardiology service line covering a 12-county referral region with a population of 750,000.
