You will provide clinical guidance for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, focusing on patient and family-centered care. Your role will involve utilizing evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. - Conduct thorough nursing assessments using appropriate tools and standards, identifying changes in patient status and recognizing appropriate nursing priorities.\n
- Collaboratively develop and update individualized plans of care based on patient needs and changes in condition, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.\n
- Set realistic and measurable goals for patient outcomes, ensuring involvement of patients and families in the care process.\n
- Respect and integrate patients' and families' cultural, spiritual, and belief systems into care planning.\n
- Facilitate a smooth transition for patients post-discharge, coordinating appropriate referrals and follow-up care.\n
- Provide direct nursing care in line with established plans, adapting as necessary to meet patient priorities.\n
- Monitor and ensure quality of care through effective surveillance and task delegation among team members.\n
- Commit to maintaining a safe and compliant care environment, focusing on patient safety and adherence to established procedures and protocols.\n

- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and patient care goals.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\n\nThis role is non-management, reporting to a supervisor or management personnel.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
- Education : Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.\n
- Experience : Minimum of one (1) year as a registered nurse.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n
- Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable program may substitute for experience.\n
- One year of licensed practical nurse (LPN) experience may also be acceptable for internal candidates within the same service line.\n\nCertification\n
