About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required, with 1 year of travel experience.

License : Requires a valid nursing license.

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS.

Must-Have :

• Experience with telemetry preferred.
• IV start skills required.

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in a cancellation.

Unit has a target patient ratio of 1 : 6, but can extend to 1 : 7 based on staffing needs.

This is a fast-paced unit with a high turnover of patients.

Contract lengths of 13 to 16 weeks are available.

Floating to other medical / surgical floors may be required as needed.

Every other weekend shift is required.

Patient population includes those with gastrointestinal conditions, anemia, infections, and post-surgical recovery.

Unit utilizes PYXIS and electronic medical records.

EKG testing must be passed prior to starting.

Travelers may be required to float to different units based on patient census and skill set.

Candidates must be comfortable with floating duties.

Travel pairs are allowed but must be submitted to work on different units.

Candidates are expected to have references ready at the time of submission.

Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or over 60 hours in a week.

Modules must be completed prior to starting and will be recorded through online learning.
