Requirements :
5+ years of experience in construction accounting or bookkeepingBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferredConstruction industry experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and construction accounting practicesProficiency in Spectrum software or similar software systemsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work collaboratively with other teamsKey Responsibilities :
Manage job costs, tracking expenses and revenues for each projectHandle tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with tax regulationsOversee accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers (collaborating with the invoice processing team)Prepare and review month-end trial balances, ensuring accuracy and completenessManage the company's checkbook, reconciling bank statements and ensuring accurate financial recordsOversee bill payments, verifying funds availability and ensuring timely paymentsPerform banking tasks, such as transferring money and making depositsMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsCollaborate with other teams to ensure seamless financial operations
