Job description3-5 years of procurement experience Familiar and experienced with ERP systems Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures, preferably for a small manufacturing environment Preferably someone who has purchased for retail organizations Knowledge of inventory control procedures Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills; written and verbal Must be able to work as part of a team and independently Review requisitions, quotes, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies Source and negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery schedules Maintain accurate procurement records and analyze purchasing data for management reporting Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve issues related to defective or delayed materials Support product development efforts by coordinating with factories to obtain samples and manage product specifications Assist in maintaining product and labeling information, assigning stock numbers, and verifying documentation accuracy Participate in global sourcing initiatives, including occasional overseas travel to meet suppliers and explore new opportunities Perform additional procurement duties as needed
