My client currently is seeking an experienced and driven IT Manager to take ownership of all aspects of the IT stack for a dynamic defense technology startup. This company is at the forefront of transforming the defense industry, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance the capabilities of dismounted soldiers while reducing vulnerabilities. With a strong emphasis on engineering and technology, this organization is poised for significant growth and impact in the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage on-premise and cloud storage strategies ensuring security and compliance with government regulations for controlled data.
• Establish and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity plan to mitigate risks from state-level actors.
• Lead IT projects focused on cybersecurity, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Act as the site administrator for enterprise software applications, ensuring efficient operations across all teams.
• Develop and maintain an automated management strategy for IT hardware assets, including inventory management and tracking.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance to optimize asset selection and utilization for enhanced productivity and cost-efficiency.
