Position Description Summary :

The Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer provides expert-level design, implementation, and management of complex telecommunications networks across multiple sites. This role ensures the reliability and performance of DLA’s voice and data WAN systems and wireless infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and optimize telecommunications networks, including LAN / WAN and wireless systems.
• Provide leadership for network analysis, architecture design, and performance tuning.
• Manage evaluation and cost estimation for carrier-based and wireless network services.
• Direct and review work products to ensure compliance with standards, schedules, and design intent.
• Prepare and deliver milestone status reports and technical presentations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and government representatives to resolve complex technical issues.
