The role
Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced and certified Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) to support our overnight research and validation studies . You will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and scoring full-night polysomnography (PSG) recordings, helping us generate high-quality physiological data that powers our next-generation sleep technologies.
We are seeking someone with deep expertise in sleep study operations who can confidently run two subjects simultaneously overnight and ensure impeccable data quality and participant care. This is a hands-on, on-site role based in the Boston Area, Massachusetts , operating four nights per week for hour shifts ( hours) .
How you’ll contribute
Conduct high-quality overnight PSG studies to validate new sleep and health features
Manage two concurrent overnight recordings with full PSG
Apply, calibrate, and troubleshoot sensors and leads to ensure clean, artifact-free data
Monitor participant safety and comfort throughout the night
Collaborate with the R&D and Clinical teams to execute study protocols
Score sleep and respiratory events following AASM guidelines
Maintain meticulous logs and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, IRB protocols)
What you need to succeed
RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification required
2+ years of work experience conducting full-night PSG studies in clinical or research settings
Proficiency in sleep staging and respiratory event scoring (AASM criteria)
Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous studies
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to participant comfort and data integrity
Willingness to work overnight shifts, Monday–Friday, and occasionally Saturdays
Comfortable working overnight -hour shifts (4 nights / week; some weekends).
Availability 4 nights per week (Monday–Friday); some rotations may include a Saturday depending on study scheduling.

Proficiency with Nox A1 / C1 PSG systems and associated software

Compensation : $. / hour , hourly and non-exempt - all overtime compensated per Massachusetts labor laws
