Shipping / Receiving Clerk

ASR is looking for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk with a Secret clearance who is looking to advance their career.

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk duties typically involve the following :

• Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, transporting and delivering material, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
• Organizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to another.
• Monitoring company packages from the start to finish, ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practices.
• Providing update inventory records and compiling weekly or monthly reports for management.
• Overseeing and keeping records of all shipping and receiving materials.
• Verifying correctness of incoming / outgoing shipments.

Requirements :

Security Clearance Requirements : Candidate will require an active SECRET clearance. Physical Demands : Requires walking, lifting (50lbs), sitting, bending, standing and for extended periods of time.
