We are currently looking for a Facilities Senior Project Manager with higher education project experience in the Storrs, CT area. In this role, you will be a member of our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team concentrating on higher education projects. This client facing role is a great opportunity for you to work on a range of projects and expand your knowledge base.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Manage maintenance projects such as multiple system type roof replacements, brick facade work, exterior siding and window replacements and an assortment of other deferred maintenance type projects
• Recommends priorities and general strategies for facilities planning and plans for best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new and existing buildings.
• Project Planning & Management : Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams to work cohesively and efficiently towards project goals.
• Stakeholder Communication : Establish and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project status updates and managing expectations.
• Risk & Issue Management : Identify potential project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays or budget overruns.
• Budget & Resource Management : Manage significant project budgets and resources (personnel, equipment) to ensure cost-efficiency and optimize allocation for goal achievement.
• Quality Assurance : Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables, conducting checks to ensure compliance with best practices and organizational requirements.
• Vendor & Contractor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
• Project Lifecycle Management : Oversee projects from inception through to successful closure, including documentation and knowledge transfer.

The salary range for this full-time role is $125,400.00-$167,200.02 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
