Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience and a current ME or compact license if applicable.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a physical therapy unit with a focus on outpatient care

Work schedule is 7 : 00AM to 5 : 30PM, 40 hours per week

13-week contract assignment

Applicants must not have worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent role

Permanent address must be at least 100 miles south or southwest of Bangor, ME for consideration

Responsibilities include delivery of outpatient physical therapy services and patient care documentation

Individual interviews may be required as part of the selection process

No travel pairs will be considered for the same position

Housing resources and flu clinic options are available to travelers

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in physical therapy, specifically in an outpatient setting

Current ME or compact state PT license required if applicable

Two professional references from the past year, with at least one from a supervisory role

Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Driver’s license is required

Flu vaccination required for start dates after 9 / 30 / 2024; only medical exemptions will be considered with advance notice
