The Financial Supervisor is responsible for the overall success of patient collections, financial counseling, and insurance benefit coordination and authorization functions for a specific medical practice(s). Leads process improvement activities related to collections and maximization of revenue and implements process improvement. Reports to Business Manager or Office / Practice Manager.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• High school graduate or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance billing and collections required.
• Knowledge of governmental and compliance regulations required.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures for insurance reimbursement and patient collections.
• Skill in exercising high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organization objectives.
