We're adding a Senior Front-end Web Developer to our AirStrip team. In this role, you'll focus on progressive web app (PWA) design, working closely with platform architects to deliver flexible component-based solutions and integrate across product lines.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members in a cross-disciplinary environment.
- Perform long-term work on a single product while moving between product lines as needed.
- Operate effectively in an environment with minimal oversight.
- Communicate with architect leads, follow established design paradigms, and propose new solutions.
- Apply stylistic design guidelines and suggest design enhancements.
- Port existing solutions from non-PWA product lines into a standardized PWA code base.
- Ensure consistent functionality across platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS) through unified PWA design.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (commensurate experience may be considered in place of a degree).5+ years of web development experience.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional HTML / CSS skill sets.JavaScript knowledge across various browser versions.Experience working in a dockerized local development environment.Knowledge of JS frameworks, especially EmberJS, Svelte, and React.Advanced web technologies and communication knowledge, including WebSocket, IndexedDB, session / local / user account storage solutions, and service workers.Deep understanding of responsive design across diverse devices.Proficiency with version control and GitHub.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with Linux or macOS development environments.General networking knowledge (SSH, VPN) and various methodologies.Understanding of color spaces and auto-theme generation based on CSS variables.Ability to leverage color theory for consistent visual clarity across product lines.Working knowledge of common file formats (JSON, XML, Markdown, etc.).Healthcare technology knowledge, including HL7 messaging and HIPAA compliance.Compensation
$115,000 – $140,000 base salary, plus bonus potential (remote, US-based applicants).Benefits
