Description :

Accurate physical receiving of materials / products to maintain the integrity of inventory control and ensures delivery of materials / products to the proper department.

Position responsibilities :

• Receives product deliveries.
• Ensures the purchase order number is on all paperwork.
• Records and checks the quantity and quality of goods received.
• Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.
• Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyers for product returns / repair.
• Properly inputs received material into the computer system
• Delivers product to appropriate internal personnel
• Assists in other departments as needed.
• Perform cycle counts regularly.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations
