Real Estate Assistant Controller

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller :

• Ability to supervise and Review the work of staff accountants.
• Review lease compliance
• Prepare CAM, Tax billings, and Operating Escalations
• Maintain books and records for properties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the company's internal controls.
• Prepare year-end work papers for the tax accountants.
• Record activity at the property level via journal entries.
• Deal with cash management, distributions, etc.
• Project Cost Accounting Financial reporting
• Perform all other duties assigned
