Spanish Companionship for Hospice Patients in Santa Ana

Orange Hospice is seeking compassionate Spanish speaking individuals to join our volunteer team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of hospice patients and their families. As a Companion Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to visit hospice patients in their homes / places of residence to provide vital respite for caregivers while offering companionship and support to those facing end-of-life journeys.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Companionship : Spend quality time with hospice patients in their homes / places of residence, offering companionship and a supportive presence.
• Respite for Caregivers : Provide temporary relief for caregivers, allowing them to take a break and attend to personal needs.
• Emotional Support : Offer a listening ear and a caring heart to patients and their families during challenging times.
