Job Summary :

The Clinical Training position is responsible for delivering, implementing, training programs for dialysis staff, ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. This role supports onboarding, continuing education, and competency evaluations for nurses and technicians in a dialysis setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver comprehensive training programs for dialysis nurses and technicians, including onboarding, hands-on skills, and continuing education.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in dialysis procedures, patient assessment, infection control, and emergency response .
  • Evaluate  clinical competencies through direct observation, assessments, and feedback.
  • Mentor and support nurses in their professional development and clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and state-specific regulations
  • Assess clinical competencies through direct observation, simulations, and evaluations.
  • Assist in maintenance of training materials (manuals, SOPs, modules) in line with national and international standards (e.g., KDIGO, CMS, DOH).
  • Conduct emergency response drills (e.g., hypotension, cardiac arrest) to ensure staff readiness.
  • Mentor and coach staff to improve clinical decision-making and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and dialysis-specific regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify training needs and improve patient outcomes Or nephrologists, nurse managers, and regulatory bodies to align training with best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in dialysis care as a Nephrology Nurse; a combination or in-centers, and / or acute, hemodialysis required
  • Experience in training and educating others in clinical settings
  • Prior experience in clinical education or staff training preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Education

  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License, required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical license with active license
  • BSN, preferred
  • Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR / BLS) required
  • TRAVEL- Must be willing to travel to assigned clinics
