Our client, a growing company in the commercial services sector, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and enhance their accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, demonstrated leadership skills, and a proactive approach to financial management and compliance. This position reports directly to the CEO and includes oversight of one Accounting Assistant.
This is an on-site role based in Dallas, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily accounting operations, including cash flow, billing, collections, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare business activity reports, forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage and develop accounting staff.
- Establish and enforce internal controls, streamlining processes, and financial policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax planning and filings.
- Provide financial analysis and support for capital investment, pricing, and contract decisions.
- Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable / receivable, payroll processing, and vendor / customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reports.
Salary Range : $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience

Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.Experience in the commercial services or cleaning industry is a plus.
