Pay Range : $105.00 - $110.00 Per Hour

Job Summary :

Seeking a Data Engineer to collaborate with our financial team. This role involves creating both self-service and automated data solutions, developing and maintaining robust data pipelines, and ensuring the integrity and quality of financial data. The ideal candidate will design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL / ELT processes, contributing significantly to our financial data strategy and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate closely with the financial team to understand and meet their data requirements.

Design and develop scalable ETL / ELT processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading.

Create and maintain sophisticated SQL queries and stored procedures for complex data analysis.

Develop interfaces and integration points for data visualization tools like Tableau and Microsoft Excel.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance to maintain data quality and integrity.

Must-Have Skills :

Extensive expertise in SQL and experience with complex queries across various databases.

Strong proficiency with modern ETL / ELT tools and frameworks.

Demonstrable skill in integrating data for BI tools, particularly Tableau and Microsoft Excel.

Industry Experience :

Prior experience with financial data and familiarity with the financial services industry is preferred, highlighting an understanding of transactions, payments, and billing systems data. This role is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer keen on leveraging financial data to drive insights and improvements within a leading financial team.
