About The Position

Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Not required

Certifications : NBSTSA, BLS required

Must-Have :

Experience in multi-specialties, especially Orthopedics, Robotics, ENT, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, and General.

Level I trauma experience required.

Epic experience preferred.

Description :

The operating room is an 18-room procedural department.

It performs over 15,000 surgical procedures per year.

The department covers fourteen surgical specialties, including neurosurgery, open heart surgery, orthopedics, and trauma.

Candidates may float as needed.

Floating and on-call requirements are part of the position.

There is no guaranteed block scheduling, including floating block.

Call responsibilities include 4-5 calls within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time required.

Candidates should be available for 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix.

Weekend shifts can be scheduled for days, evenings, or nights.

Holidays may also be scheduled as needed.

COVID patient care may be required.

The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.

Candidates are expected to comply with all policies and protocols related to sterilization and disinfection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining aseptic technique and managing surgical instruments.

Skills in various surgical procedures are essential.

Candidates will need to demonstrate their capability during the interview process.
