Job Summary

As a Senior Nursing Assistant (NA), you will deliver personalized nursing care and daily living assistance to residents in our long-term care facility under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your expert-level experience will support both residents and staff, emphasizing infection control and high-quality care.

You will be responsible for :

Assisting residents with basic health and personal care needs.

Implementing proper techniques for transferring and repositioning residents.

Ensuring a positive dining experience for residents during meals.

Documenting resident interactions and reporting changes in their condition to nursing staff.

Maintaining cleanliness in residents’ living areas.

Promoting participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Minimum age of 16, with two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing.

Annual completion of department-specific competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education are mandatory.

May include completing Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.

Driver responsibilities may apply, requiring a valid driver's license.
