Job descriptionEMR (AthenaNet) and OB / GYN experience are a must. Must be able to work independently and in a group setting. Efficiency and attention to detail. Solid critical thinking. Strong communication skills; verbal and written. Prioritize tasks appropriately and efficiently. Problem-solving skills; adaptable and flexible. Monday through Friday (8 am - 5 pm) No nights, weekends, or major holidays. Travel between offices Reports to Clinical Supervisor.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and friendly, full-time Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our busy OB / GYN practice. We are a well-established practice with 3 locations in the Hampton Roads area with 8 physicians, 2 physician assistants, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 3 certified midwives, and a full-time marriage and family therapist.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Obtain complete patient histories and vital signs.
- Room patients and assist providers with exams.
- Assist with in-office procedures; LEEP, colposcopies, hysteroscopic procedures, IUD insertion and removals, and Nexplanon placement.
- Perform non-stress tests.
- Administer Injections.
- HIPPA compliance.
