Salary : $15 - $19 / hour
Retail position available at our farmer's market in Wayne, PA. Fridays and Saturdays only.Employees receive free lunches, employee discounts, and the opportunity to work alongside some really awesome people.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner
- Stocking / building case displays
- Product preparation
- Help with market stand set up and tear down
- Cleaning and sanitizing market cases
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products
- Differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast flavors, textures, parings, etc.
- Answer all customer questions and address concerns
- Make helpful suggestions that will be useful to the customer
- Handle all transactions with accuracy
- Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience
- Train / operate food service equipment (slicer, chipper, etc.)
- Additional sanitation and market support as needed
