Catering / Events Intern

Position Overview :

The Catering / Events Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of catering functions and special events. This role provides hands-on experience in event logistics, client service, and hospitality operations. The intern will assist with both administrative tasks and on-site event support to ensure seamless experiences for clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with event planning logistics, including timelines, menus, décor, rentals, and vendor coordination.
• Support day-of-event operations such as setup, guest check-in, service coordination, and breakdown.
• Conduct research on venues, vendors, and event trends as needed.
• Prepare and update event documents including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Assist with inventory tracking of catering supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Provide administrative support such as filing, scheduling, and maintaining client databases.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.
• Represent the organization professionally with clients, vendors, and guests.
