Support Services Specialist

Wellfleet, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, seeks a Support Services Specialist to support the Wellfleet Support Services Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all functions of the Support Services team including but not limited to data entry of claims, provider adds / updates, assisting with mailroom functions and receptionist area in compliance with company standards and industry best practices; to ensure consistent delivery of quality services. Must possess good communication skills, be a detail-oriented problem solver with good time management skills and sense of urgency.

In this role, you will...

• Complete data entry of claims and correspondence in a timely and accurate manner
• Have the ability to identify the different image types
• Look up members via id, name, group etc.
• Ensure providers are entered timely and accurately in LuminX based on the claim or W9
• Ensure returned checks are handled timely so that provider information is updated in LuminX
• Assist with 1099 provider corrections
• Have the ability to keep LuminX mailbox within turnaround time standards
• Print out faxes daily and ensure all pages are delivered to mailroom for scanning
• Sort and deliver returned mail in a timely manner
• Assist in answering calls going through receptionist desk and direct to the appropriate area in a timely and polite manner
• Adhere to deadlines / turnaround times
• Keep supervisor informed of any issues that may arise
• Perform other duties as assigned
